Our client a Grain, food and feed ingredients trading company, based in Central London, are currently seeking an experience Trade Execution candidate to report directly to the Head of Execution
Brief Overview:
Job Purpose – The organisation is a dynamic and fast-growing business, seeking a new member for the Trade Execution department.
Job purpose
To check shipping documents for containers and bulk vessel shipments, as well as national and international truck logistics.
Candidate Profile
Areas of Responsibility:
➢ Coordination/Supervision of containerised/bulk/break bulk commodity shipments
➢ Coordination/Supervision of truck deliveries/collections
➢ Stock maintenance and reconciliation between inhouse systems and 3rd party stores.
➢ Supplier/Service Provider invoice processing
Essential Functions:
➢ Facilitate in the smooth running of the Trade Execution department
➢ Execute Purchase and Sale Contracts
➢ Maintain stock control and liaise with Traders regarding position management
➢ Develop working relationships with service providers to increase competitiveness
➢ Suggest / Recommend improvements to processes and procedures.
➢ Maintain high levels of customer service
Personal Requirements:
➢ Organizational abilities and Interpersonal skills – up and down the line
➢ Eagerness to learn and a desire to perform well.
➢ Ability to cope with the detailed work of this specialist commodity sector.
➢ Confidence both in person and via telephone.
➢ Good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
➢ 2nd language a bonus but not essential
➢ Honesty & Integrity
